Playa de La Laja is a 1200 meter long beach with moderate waves and fine black sand. Here you can enjoy the ocean at the foot of the mountains. The beach is orientated to the east and thanks to that you can observe great sunrises. It's the perfect beach for a walk. In the south, there is a 9-meter sculpture of the god Triton at the foot of which you can observe the entire coast of the island's capital.
