Puerto de Las Nieves is a picturesque fishing village on the north-west coast of Gran Canaria. The village is filled with Canarian charm and atmosphere. The village has become a popular place to visit, ideal for a day trip. Ferries to Tenerife leave from the port.
At the southern end of this village, you will find Dedo de Dios. It is a 30-meter slender peak of basalt rock rising above the ocean, directly in front of the impressive cliffs. Tropical Storm Delta hit in 2005, Dedo was damaged, but it still makes an amazing view and is a great opportunity to take pictures.
