Lisbon is a city full of architectural masterpieces and one of them is located on the square: Praça do Município. The Lisbon City Hall (Paços do Concelho de Lisboa) is the seat of the city authorities in Lisbon (Câmara Municipal de Lisboa).
The building was built in the neoclassical style in the years 1865-1880. Inside there are interesting dome, stairs.
This year, Camara Municipal de Lisboa offered a free tour of the building on April 25 and you could look into many nooks and crannies. Just on the occasion of The Carnation Revolution (Revolução dos Cravos), the city hall interiors were beautifully decorated with poppy flowers.
